‘Applause’ is the debut single from new Dublin synth-pop artist Butler. Hooky vocals with dance driven drum loops and 80’s break beats are his thing and who are we to argue?
Butler is the brainchild of multi-awarding vocalist Luke Thomas who is the front man for the legendary Swing Cats. With this new alter-ego, Thomas draws from his love of all things Prince, 80’s electro, early dance music and hip-hop.

It’s a very summery, feel-good pop tune and augurs well for future releases. Plans for more releases are underway with some very interesting collaborations with other Irish artists in the pipeline. Watch this space or more specifically, his Facebook page, right here.
