BENJAMYN releases a new EP.
BENJAMYN is the moniker chosen by Dublin musician Ben Hogan.
Ben began his journey as a musician at a young age, picking up the guitar and singing along for fun. As he approached his twenties he began writing songs, and stumbled into the world of electronic music production.
After messing around with different genres he discovered a way of blending his favourite styles into a new sound that best suited the type of musician he wanted to become.
Under the moniker of ‘BENJAMYN’, Ben Hogan debuts with the release of his EP, TwentyThree. The songs were self-recorded from a home studio setup in Ireland during the hot summer of 2018, and released the following November.
Using lyrics that were written from the age of 19 through to 23, TwentyThree tells the story of fun loving youth, loss, and trying to find your own way. This is one of the tracks from it.
