Forbidden Fruit

Forbidden Fruit is taking place this weekend so you’d want to get on your skates if you are planning a trip to Kilmainham this weekend.

When: June 1st – 2nd

Where: Royal Hospital Kilmainham, Dublin

Main acts: Kasabian, Chic, James Blake, Primal Scream while comedy acts include Kevin McAleer, David McSavage, Colin Murphy and The Nualas

Oxegen

Back after a year sabattical last summer, there has been huge anticipation for this summer’s event with thousands set to flock to Punchestown for the August Bank Holiday weekend.

When: August 2nd,, 3rd, 4th

Where: Punchestown Racecourse

Main acts: David Guetta, Calvin Harris, Snoop Dogg, Labrinth, Example, Soul Wax

Tickets: 3 day camping €149.50, 3 day non-camping €129.50

Electric Picnic

The music festival in Laois marks the 10th anniversary of the popular event and this year the line-up looks pretty impressive.

When: August 30 – September 1st

Where: Stradbally, Co. Laois

Main acts: Fatboy Slim, Bjork, Arctic Monkeys, Wu-Tang Clan, Space Shifters, Mick Flannery

Tickets: Sunday €85.00, weekend ticket before July 28th €189.50 and weekend ticket after July 28th €229.50

Sea Sessions

What could be better than surfing, music and skating for a weekend in Donegal? Very little we think you will find.
