JOE.ie have had the pleasure of seeing John Doherty and Ryan McCloskey up close and personal before, and now the boys are back with a banger.
Their new single, Tired, is a bit of a heart-wrencher. Chiming guitars and the kind of percussion that you can feel in your chest lend themselves very well to a song that slowly builds to an epic Snow Patrol-er of a final chorus.
I’d recommend watching the video while you listen. It seems to tell the story of an ageing couple out of love which only adds to the tear-jerkery of the track.
