So you’re telling me there’s a chance…
Music fans across the country despaired when Electric Picnic tickets sold out in about a millisecond, but all hope of securing your spot in Stradbally in September is not lost yet.

As has been the case for the last seven years, the folks behind the RaboDirect Tour de Picnic will once again be staging a charity cycle and run to Ireland’s biggest festival and those who sign up for it can get their hands on an elusive ticket.
This year, RaboDirect Tour de Picnic will be collaborating with three worthy charities; Headway, The Jack & Jill Foundation and the ISPCC.
Last year RaboDirect Tour de Picnic broke over €1.3 million for various children’s charities since the first ride to Electric Picnic with just 30 people.
To sign up and get yourself a ticket for Electric Picnic while raising money for these very worthy causes, you can visit the RaboDirect Tour de Picnic website here.

Participants are invited to sign up with just a €100 deposit that secures their place on the cycle or run and their ticket to the festival, provided they meet the deadlines.
With Electric Picnic sold out in record time applications are already flying in, so don’t hang around.
The deposit is also counted towards the final fundraising total and everyone is asked to raise a minimum of €380 by August 1, 2016.
The royal treatment includes the fully supported 80km cycle or 15km run (supplemented by bus), baggage transfer, return bus, bike transfer home, all the snacks you can eat, special TDP kit, a private party on arrival and, of course, admission to Electric Picnic.

Brian McDermott of RaboDirect Tour de Picnic commented on the launch, saying: “For 2016 I’m really looking forward to getting the runners and cyclists on board to raise much needed funds for The Jack & Jill Foundation, Headway and the ISPCC. On the route and at the finish we have some musical surprises this year.
“I’m really looking forward to seeing everyone get involved with #RaboTourdePicnic”.
