JOE is sad to see the talented DJ Zane Lowe leave BBC Radio 1 because the New Zealender has always been a strong advocate of championing new and upcoming talent on his show.

We already showed you some of the stunning array of artists that paid tribute to Lowe , U2 , QOTSA and Foo Fighters to name just a  few, but Sheeran’s tribute is one of the most personal and moving ones.

It’s hard to think that only a few years ago Ed was busking around England because he’s now all set to play a sold-out gig at Croke Park.

Without DJ’s like Lowe and countless other Irish DJ’S who are prepared to take a chance on playing new and emerging artists on their shows then who knows where certain singers/bands may be?

This is a nice touch from Sheeran.
