Pic: Meath band ‘Cult Called Man’ pen an open letter to Modest Mouse asking for a support slot

They might just move the moon & Antarctica to open for them

They might just move the moon & Antarctica to open for them.

We’ve been keeping an close eye on Rathoath band ‘Cult Called Man’ for quite some time now after we saw their storming set at KnocaknaStockan recently.

We’re hoping that the world and the Irish public will get to see more of the lads very soon and it might just happen if Modest Mouse reply to this brilliant open letter.

Cult Called Man’s debut EP, Shoot Me (It’s Just TV), heralded their arrival on the Irish scene and their latest EP, The Mr. Wednesdae, has seen the band adopt a more daring and creative approach to their songwriting.

It seems that they’ve continued this ballsy approach after penning an open letter to the chart-topping indie rockers asking to be the opening act on their upcoming Dublin date.

Modest Mouse be playing The Helix on July 10th and we think it’s almost impossible for them to tell the Meath boys to float on after reading this.

Fair play to them for taking things into their own hands.
