We’ll always have a huge amount of love for the Sony Walkman that we used to listened to religiously on the way to school in ’96.
We still get nostalgic when thinking about the process of switching those batteries that died after about two hours, wearing earphones that were so big that they looked like TV antennas or all those evenings spent wishing that the DJ on the radio would stop talking over the intro of a song because he was ruining our mixed tape.
iPod’s are fantastic but there’s a lot to be said for embracing the old ways.
