Are you currently in a band that’s trying to make it’s way in the tough world that is the music industry? If so, the Red Bull Bedroom Jam is the perfect competition for you.
Calling all bands! How would you like to get your name and face on a live international platform? Sounds pretty epic, right? Well, all you have to do to be in with a chance of winning this once in a lifetime opportunity is upload a video of your band jamming away to RedBullBedroomJam.ie and create some buzz.
The Buzz Chart kicks off on April 8th and runs for 6 weeks. Basically, the chart tracks how well your video is doing on social media and how much buzz is being created because of it.
At the end of every week, the band who creates the most buzz and tops the chart will get to preform in front of the whole world while remaining in the comfort of their own bedroom.
The six bands that manage to top the Buzz Chart will then enter the Festival Chart where the public decides who will progresses to the festival tour and live final. This is where the six finalists get whittled down to just three.
The three bands that get picked in the public vote will get to play some of Ireland’s best festivals including Indiependence, Westport and Glasgowbury and then they’ll go head to head in Red Bull’s live final in Dublin’s iconic Whelan’s.
A panel of judges that includes Nialler9, Paddy Glasgow & Dara Quilty, will crown the winners who will then receive one week of living & recording at the world famous Grouse Lodge, one thousand euro worth of equipment, a support spot on an Irish tour and PR support for the release of their debut/new single. It really is the first step to international stardom and it all begins by simply uploading one video.
