Not only have Mastodon decided to pay us a visit this week, they love us so much they’re playing twice. That’s twice the Mastodon, which is twice the greatness… kinda.
The Wednesday date is sold out, but you may be able to grab your tickets for the Thursday.
Duke Special – ‘Our Love Goes Deeper Than This’
Tough decision on Monday… Slayer or Duke Special? Although we’re pretty sure there will be very few, if any, Slayer fans opting to head over to Whelan’s.
Anyways if ya don’t catch Duke Special on that there Monday, he’s playing a load of dates around the country over the next while so keep your ear to the ground or check his site. Either/or really.
Slayer – ‘War Ensemble’
On Monday Kerry King, Tom Araya and re-recruited Paul Bostaph will be returning to Dublin for the first time without the legend that is Jeff Hanneman. It’s sure to be emotional and no less fantastic.
And if you can’t make Monday pop along Tuesday as they’re also doing two dates. Yay.
