The excellent Casa Bacardi line-up for Electric Picnic has been announced

Conor Heneghan

Plenty to look forward to for everyone heading to Stradbally in September.

Huxley, Nicky Siano and Horse Meat Disco are just some of the fantastic acts that will perform at the CASA BACARDÍ stage at Electric Picnic in September.

A stellar line-up of DJs will take to the stage over the weekend, with Huxley headlining on the opening night, Friday 2 September, with support coming from US dance music project Hercules & Love Affair and seasoned festival DJ, Stevie G.

Nicky Siano, who held a residency in the famous New York nightclub Studio 54, is the main attraction on the Saturday night, when the crowd will have been nicely warmed up by the sounds of the UK’s finest disco operators, Horse Meat Disco, electronic maestro Krafty Kuts and resident Hidden Agenda club nights, DJ DEECE.

Closing the festival on Sunday, 4 September is legendary indie dance DJ Stephen Fasano (aka The Magician), with support from festival heavy hitters Disco Bloodbath and turntable trailblazer A-Skillz, who makes a welcome return to Stradbally with his authentic fusion of nu-funk and dub-step beats.

From an Irish perspective, top Irish DJ Kelly Anne-Byrne is also on the line-up, while there will also be sets from Waterford duo Darren Dalton and Martin Roche (aka Get Down Edits), Hidden Agenda’s Steve Manning, Dublin based DJ collective, Groovement Soul and Mother DJ Phil Boyle (aka Ghostboy).

Throughout the weekend, award-winning BACARDÍ® bartenders will be sharing their top tips with festival goers on how to make delicious BACARDÍ® rum cocktails.

Keeping with tradition, music fans will also of course be treated to Ireland’s festival favourite cocktails – including the BACARDÍ Cuba Libre and BACARDÍ Mojito.
