Stephanie Rainey is one name that music lovers all over the country need to get acquainted with very quickly, as she joined The Sunday Sessions in The Workman’s Club, Dublin for one exclusive recording.
Hailing from the rebel county, Rainey is the perfect mix between pop and rock, with a subtle fusion of folk thrown in for good measure.
A singer-songwriter from an early age, Rainey has been steadily making an impact on the Irish music scene since the release of her debut single, The One, in 2011.
Last year, the Cork lady garnered a large following after uploading two phenomenal cover tracks to YouTube, providing her with the perfect platform to share more of her own material.
Rainey returned this year with a her debut EP, ‘All For You’, which was released earlier in the week and went straight in at no.2 on the alternative album download charts, nestled nicely between Hozier’s debut record and alt-J.
Rainey performed a beautiful acoustic rendition of the EP’s title track.
Emotional, undeniably honest and incredibly catchy, Stephanie Rainey is one lady to watch.
