Lovely touch.
Today is an emotional one for Irish people that love music as TXFM, formerly Phantom FM, bids farewell to the airwaves. There has been a massive outpouring of emotion from the Irish public as they bid farewell to Phantom/TXFM, this post from broadcaster Nadine O’Regan is definitely worth checking out, and plenty of Irish artists have also spoken out in support of station.

The biggest Irish band in the world have also paid a special tribute to the indie/alternative station by recording this special tribute song.
While the song is brief, this lovely show of support from Bono, Larry, Adam and The Edge hasn’t gone unnoticed.
So, four Dublin lads you might know sent us a lil message today.
*mind blown*
