We don’t like change but we like this.
U2, Carrie Underwood and Kanye West played at a World AIDS Day (RED) benefit gig at Times Square in New York last night.
U2? Hang on, isn’t Bono out of action after that bike accident? Yes he is but the show must go on, people.
The iconic frontman called two of his buddies for a favour so Chris Martin and Bruce Springsteen agreed to front U2 for the evening.
Coldplay’s Martin sang “Beautiful Day” and “With or Without You” while The Boss belted out “Where the Streets Have No Name” and “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For.”
It’s all a bit surreal but the moment Bruce walks out to join Larry, Adam and The Edge is amazing. Enjoy.

Chris Martin also sang a few songs.

The guys were great but get well soon Bono. We want to see you back on that stage.
