Elton John gave him some help.
Even if you’re not a fan of Ed Sheeran, it takes incredible nerve to play in front of 80,000 people as a solo artist and it seemed that Ed gave his adoring crowd plenty to cheer about at Wembley.
The artist with the biggest selling album of 2014 in Ireland is set to play Croke Park on July 24 and he’s getting in some good preparation with a sold-out three night stint at Wembley.
As well as his own hits, the singer also threw in a few covers for good measure and Irish fans might get a kick out of hearing his cover of ‘The Parting Glass’, a tune made famous by The Clancy Brothers, Ronnie Drew and The Pogues among others.
