When it comes to Australian rapper Iggy Azalea there are two schools of thought.
Her detractors would argue that the rapper is a parasite on the hip-hop community because she continues to thrive in the genre while failing to help, contribute or acknowledge the crucial political, historical and social roots that hip-hop has in American society.
Those who dislike her argue that she just doesn’t see the big picture while she constantly takes but never gives anything back to hip-hop culture.
