Video: Polish beatboxer teams up with Irish Trad band for a session like no other

We like it... We like it a lot...

If you like musical mash-ups you’re going to absolutely love this…

The lads from Irish Trad/hip-hop group Jiggy (Robbie Harris – Bodhrán, Daire Bracken – Fiddle, Éamonn de Barra – Flute, Seamus Fogarty – Jews harp) recently teamed up with a Polish beatboxer for a rather interesting session.

The beatboxer in question is none other than MIC Bandit, the Polish Beatbox Champion 2013, and his talents really do shine through in this class little video.

Speaking to JOE about the video Jiggy’s Robbie Harris said: “I was walking down Grafton St. and saw this amazing beatboxer MIC Bandit who had just arrived in Ireland from Poland via London. He is the official Polish Beatbox Champion 2013, so we asked MIC to join us at a Sunday morning session in The Harbour Bar, Bray Co Wicklow.”

Mia Mullarkey shot the video for Ishka Films in the Harbour Bar, Bray, and if you like what you see here then you’ll love the rest of Jiggy’s work on YouTube, which you can find over here.
