He’s an actor, a real-life member of the Garda drug unit and the lead singer of indie rock band called White McKenzie. Is there anything that Kieran O’Reilly can’t do?
Sure, he’s practically 007.
Yesterday, we featured a story about Kieran O’Rielly, the real-life drugs unit garda who acted in the most recent episode of Love/Hate (as an undercover garda, funnily enough) and who is now in a spot of bother over his small screen appearance.
Well, as it transpires, Kieran is no stranger to the entertainment industry as he was once the lead singer of a six-piece indie rock group based in Dublin known as White McKenzie.
The band recently posted the following message on their Facebook page, leading us to believe Kieran has since hung up the mic in favour of a script.
“Please Share/Tweet this video. It displays the fine talent of our once singer/songwriter and now, Love/Hate TV star, Kieran O Reilly. Regards, White McKenzie.”
In fairness to the lads, they have some pretty good tunes and you can check out more of their stuff over here…
