In case you’re not familiar with Paul Gogarty or his musical side project His Sweet Surprise, here is a good place to start
We’ve been keeping a close eye on the works of former TD Paul Gogarty, whose musical project His Sweet Surprise has released a few tracks in the past, but we’ve not seen anything from him in the last few months.
Thankfully, he’s back with his latest song ‘Radio (When I Listen To)’, which apparently was entered into the running to become the Eurovision song for us this year, but lost out to ‘Only Love Survives’, as we all know now.
Gogarty stated on his YouTube page that he might still consider doing another song for Eurovision though, so there’s hope yet. This is certainly better than any other effort we’ve seen from a TD, it has a bit of a Pet Shop Boys ring to it.
