Shame it’s in London.
Ballymore Properties Ireland are planning to connect two apartment buildings in London with a suspended swimming pool.
While this looks and sounds (and might be) like the coolest thing ever, these apartments are outside of the price range of almost every single human on earth.
The pool will be built between the eighth stories of two of the Nine Elms’ apartment blocks, which are situated on the South Bank of the Thames.

Apartments in the Nine Elms complex are, of course, outrageously exclusive, with the cheapest coming at the prohibitive price of £600,000.
While it looks pretty cool, it’s hard to imagine that a floating swimming pool is the safest of amenities. However, those who are lucky enough to swim in can feel reassured that there is eight inches of glass at the base to keep them from crashing to earth.
