PICS: Storm Barney is also causing havoc on this Aer Lingus flight to Cork

This is a hell of a route to take

Colm Boohig

This storm is having a huge impact on some Irish flights.

We have already noted that Ryanair flight RYR3CY to Shannon has been diverted to Liverpool, and now this flight to Cork looks to be heading to Belfast.

JOE reader John Fyfe has sent these images of how Aer Lingus flight EI823/EIN82Y from Paris to Cork circled near Cork Airport eight times before its eventual attempt at landing was abandoned.

The flight is currently being diverted to Belfast International Airport.

This storm isn’t messing around so take care out there, lads.

Cheers to John Fyfe for sending this our way. If you have something you would like to share with us, send it to editorial@JOE.ie or hit us up on Facebook or Twitter.
