Unfortunately, this is the closest many of us will ever get to business class.
For quite a lot of people – barring an unexpected and entirely complimentary upgrade – flying business class is but a dream.
You may not ever get to experience it for yourself, but Aer Lingus today presented what it will be like to fly business class on their Boeing 757 fleet for the foreseeable future and it looks quite swanky indeed.

If seeing the pictures isn’t enough, Aer Lingus are also providing the opportunity to experience Business Class as if you were sitting on the actual aircraft via a Google Maps virtual tour.
To capture the unique 360 degree experience, thousands of high-resolution digital images were taken using a specially rigged DSLR camera and carefully stitched together to create a seamless virtual experience.
As a result, online users can experience walking up to the plane, climbing the steps and walking through the aisle of the B757 Business Class Cabin, which includes fully-lie flat seats and will be included in five Aer Lingus B757s by mid-May.
You can take the tour by clicking on this link and, if you wish, you can even take a walk down to the standard cabin seats you’ll probably have to be satisfied with on your next flight.
*Sigh*
