Expect to hear an awful lot of deserved praise for Spar Guy on Monday.
This made us both angry and proud at the same time.
Angry that prejudice and homophobic language is still so prevalent in Irish society, and proud of the shop worker who wasn’t about to see one of his customers getting abused.
We hope Spar Guy gets a hefty Christmas bonus for this. Bravo.
