One way to get your hands on an elusive ticket…
Electric Picnic has been officially sold-out for weeks now but there are still some ways you can get your hands on one of those (figurative) golden tickets.
One way includes doing a charity cycle to EP which will not only get you a ticket, but it will leave you feeling all warm and fuzzy inside ahead of a great weekend of music. Who doesn’t want to feel all warm and fuzzy guys?
By joining the RaboDirect Tour De Picnic and cycling 80km combined with a degree of fundraising, you can land yourself in Stradbally on the first weekend in September.
To be part of this charitable cause, a sum of €380 must be raised upfront which will cover your clothes, tent and gear being bussed to EP while you cycle in aid of The ISPCC (Childline), Special Olympics Ireland and The Irish Youth Foundation.
The money will also cover your entry to EP along with a massage and some cool alcoholic beverages on arrival if you wish to partake in them, and there’s a burger as well for some soakage ahead of your weekend.
The idea of leaving your bike lying around for the weekend doesn’t really appeal to us but as part of the cycle, it will be placed in a secure lock up and bussed back to Dublin along with yourself after the festival.
