A quirky cover with an important message.
We invited Fight Like Apes along to record a Sunday Sessions with us recently and they did something to support the ‘Yes’ campaign ahead of the marriage referendum.
We usually ask the artists to do a single and a cover version of a popular song, Fight Like Apes chose Pet Shop Boys’ Go West but rearranged the main lyrics to say ‘Vote Yes‘.
The band invited some of their friends along to take join in the impromptu performance and the result is loads of fun with a really strong message.
