The news that The Purple One has passed away has been greeted with a massive outpouring of grief by fans around the world.
At least we have this snippet of what has turned out to be the last ever performance of ‘Purple Rain’ at The Fox Theatre in Atlanta this month.
It’s exactly what we had come to expect from Prince – a hugely emotive and affecting performance from one of the greatest live performers of all time.
