2pts win – Plumpton – 2.20

The first race at Plumpton this afternoon can go the way of top weight WILLOW WREN. This is a Class 5 hurdle so, as you can expect, the field isn’t spectacular.

Amateur rider Sam Jones could certainly do with a winner as he hasn’t been first home in quite a while but this mare gives him plenty to work with following a solid third at Huntingdon last month.

3pts win – Hexham – 2.30

ALONG CAME ROSIE has a major shout in this contest if she can rekindle her form of old. A winner over this distance last November, Paul Gallagher’s 5lb claim should greatly help her cause.

Mister Wall Street is the one to watch out for, however, coming from the Ferdy Murphy yard with Graham Lee in the plate.
