We’re banking on some Ruby magic at Cheltenham and a Dermot Weld-trained three-year-old for JOE’s Daily Punts, in association with Boylesports.
2pts win – Cheltenham – 4.30
Ruby Walsh has another fine book of rides for Paul Nicholls today and THERE’S NO PANIC looks the one to side with at Prestbury Park this afternoon.
Racing in the Stewart family colours, this fella comes here fresh after solid form last summer and a credible third here in October. Sir Kezbah and Nicene Creed are among the competitiors who provide ample opposition but the Ruby factor is a big positive in a race of this nature.
5pts win – Tipperary – 6.35
Dermot Weld’s NOTABLE GRADUATE should only have the John Oxx-trained newcomer Kasanka to worry about in this mile-and-a-half stretch tonight.
Notable Graduate only went down by two-and-a-half lengths to Marksmanship at the Curragh last time out and that recent run will hold the three-year-old in good stead for this. The experienced Pat Smullen takes the ride for what should be the banker of the card at Tipp.
