Looking at today’s matches in the darts I think Kevin McDine has enough talent to beat Barrie Bates.

Bates did well at the World Cup for Wales but young McDine could cause a surprise today. It’ll go down to the wire between these two and I think McDine (pictured above) could just pip it, 3-2.

At Southwell today go with Donald McCain’s runner, INTHESETTLEMENT, in the first race at 12.50.This five-year-old was finished second first time out at Aintree on soft ground and was well beaten but the experience should stand to him.

The stylish Jason Maguire takes the ride and if he can’t get this fella up then forget about it.

JOE’s Punts: Kevin McDine to beat Barrie Bates 3-2 @ 4/1 and Inthesettlement (Southwell, 12.50 @ 8/11)

Prices supplied by Boylesports at 10.15am.
