Racing at Navan this afternoon will have Irish punters’ mouths watering and we’ve come up with three likely sorts for success. JOE’s Daily Punts, in association with Boylesports.

4pts win, Sir Des Champs – 1.25 Navan – The French import for Willie Mullins has an impressive portfolio and a winning debut in Ireland will be difficult to deter. Only a five-year-old and already a winner in France, he will be hard to beat.
2pts e/w, Cross Appeal – 2.55 Navan – A classy enough juvenile hurdler last season, this will be his debut over fences but that may prove the tonic for a resurgence to some of his better form and, of course, most of Noel Meade’s runners at Navan have to be given plenty of respect. Shouldn’t be out of the first three and could nick it.
1pt e/w, Duomo Di Milano – 3.55 Navan – Always respect an Arthur Moore runner in a bumper. He doesn’t use this sort of race too often, but when he does they’re usually well primed for the day and hopefully at double figures Duomo Di Milano will run in to a place at worst, although it is a strong looking contest.
