Evening racing at Fairyhouse has us hoping Nina Carberry can continue her rich vein of form. JOE’s Daily Punts, in association with Boylesports.
2pts win – Drawn N Drank – (Fairyhouse, 3.55)
Enda Bolger is your man for the long distance events and this hunters chase can go the way of DRAWN N DRANK although there’s work to be done.
This point-to-point double winner is the youngest horse in the field and if there is any drawback to his chances today it’s that he’s only a five-year-old up against much more experienced opponents.
A solid jumping performance will be needed here and you can rely on Bolger that he will have this fella well prepared for the challenge.
2pts e/w – What A Charm – (Fairyhouse, 6.00)
It’s been a long weekend to remember for Arthur Moore and his niece Nina Carberry at Fairyhouse and I reckon they can add to yesterday’s Grand National success by landing this one with Cheltenham winner WHAT A CHARM.
The four-year-old filly saw off 22 rivals at Prestbury Park in the Fred Winter Juvenile Handicap Hurdle last month when partnered by Paul Townend.
Nina takes the ride today and if the effort is as gallant as the Festival performance then these ladies will be very hard to beat.
