4pts win Blazing Tempo – 3.50 Thurles – It will be tough for Blazing Tempo to give away 8lbs to the classy For Bill in the Grade 3 Mares Chase today, but both are above ordinary and I expect, with some confidence, that Blazing Tempo will frank the form of their last meeting and again finish in front of Michael Winters’ charge.
2pts e/w The Big Boyo – 2.10 Thurles – A decent fourth last time, The Big Boyo has earned a rating of 105 and while some of these are rated even higher, like Marlay Park at 112, PJ Colville’s seven-year-old should be up to running a big race here.
1pt trio – J’y Vole, Roberto Goldback and Glencove Marina in any order – 3.20 Thurles –
This one is just for the craic, so don’t go to town on it. While my selection would by J’y Vole, I can see these three filling the places in some order and a trio may prove an interesting little bet.
