4pts win, A Bridge Too Far, Catterick, 3.40 – Won his debut over hurdles a month ago and now with Donald McCain Jnr and a new owner. It’s a large field for Jason Maguire to navigate through but if he comes on from the last time on the track there shouldn’t be much hassle dotting up.
1pt win, Alystar, Plumpton, 2.20 – It’s a tentative selection due to his heavy defeat last time out but it’s so difficult to oppose the all-conquering Nicky Henderson yard in this contest. This one definitely needs improvement and it wouldn’t take a whole lot to win today.
