Course and distance winner POSH EMILY has been in the money on three of her last four outings and today looks like an ideal opportunity to get back to winning ways in a less than ordinary handicap hurdle.
The Ron Hodges-trained mare obviously likes it around here and this is her optimum trip. David Pipe’s Woodpark Island looks the main threat but I reckon Jake Greenall’s 7lb claim will be the deciding factor when it gets to the business end.
Lingfield – 4.10 – 2pts win
The outstanding Jimmy Fortune will have CAPE MELODY flat to the board in this 6f contest and George Baker’s course and distance winner is due a visit to the winner’s enclosure.
He’s been knocking on the door of late and, if he gets a good pitch, there’ll be no stopping him from seeing off the challenge of the likes of Six Wives.
