Apparently Man Utd have hired a drone patrol to keep spies away from training

Even for Louis Van Gaal this seems mad...

Even for Louis Van Gaal, this seems mad…

We know that Van Gaal likes to change formations frequently and he has gone to great lengths to keep his plans a secret after hiring a security firm to scan the skies above the team’s training ground in Carrington for spy drones.

We really hope this involves Wayne Rooney standing on the side of the touchline with a little rifle firing wildly into the sky.

The Sun reports: “It’s unlikely rivals like Manchester City, Liverpool or Arsenal would employ people to fly drones. But that doesn’t mean some bright sparks won’t take it upon themselves to try to eavesdrop on what the team are up to and steal their closely guarded secrets.

“Van Gaal employs some very specific tactics and he will go to great lengths to keep them secret. You can buy these drones for about £100 these days and they are fairly easy to operate.

“It would be very easy for someone to manoeuvre one over the training pitch. There is also a chance that a drone or cleverly placed camera could catch an argument between players and that could be embarrassing for the club.”

All of a sudden JOE has an image of Louis Van Gaal wearing a tinfoil hat uttering the words “they’re trying to steal my ideas” to himself on the training pitch over and over again.

While this story is brilliant we do wish that someone spied on United when David Moyes was in charge because we reckon that there must have been some interesting footage featuring Evra, Ferdinand and Vidic.

Are drone cameras able to pick up the middle finger being shown?

Drone patrol instantly made us think of this also.
