Argentina name side for Ireland clash

Argentina have named their side for Sunday’s clash with Ireland at the Aviva Stadium.

Argentina have named their side for Sunday’s clash with Ireland at the Aviva Stadium.

Pumas’ coach Santiago Phelan has made three changes to the side that were defeated 15-9 by France last weekend, with Horacio Agulla, Marcelo Bosch and Julio Farias Cabello coming into the starting lineup instead of Gonzalo Comacho, Santiago Fernandez and Miguel De Achaval.

Felipe Contepomi will captain the side from out half, while the likes of Mario Ledesma, Patricio Albacete and Juan Fernandez Lobbe also featuring in the starting XV.

Ireland’s clash with Argentina kicks off at the Aviva Stadium on Sunday at 2.30pm.

Argentina: Martin Rodriguez; Horacio Agulla, Gonzalo Tiesi, Marcelo Bosch, Lucas Gonzalez Amorosino; Felipe Contepomi (captain), Rodrigo Roncero, Mario Ledesma, Martin Scelzo; Mariano Galarza, Patricio Albacete; Genaro Fessia, Julio Farias Cabello, Juan Fernandez Lobbe.

Replacements: Agustin Creevy, Marcos Ayerza, Juan Figallo, Santiago Guzman, Alvaro Galindo, Alfredo Lalanne, Lucas Borges.
