Now this is what we’re happy to call betting on Ireland-Estonia with a difference – with a QR code made from thousands of footballs, on smartphones, over Dublin, in a 130mph freefall.
The lads at betting exchange Betfair have produced the dazzling video above, which certainly takes our interest in Tuesday night’s Euro 2012 play-off celebration leg to, um, new heights.
Using 2000 footballs – and eight invaluable assembly assistants – they put together the world’s first ever QR Code from footballs at Sean Moore Park in Ringsend.
Skydivers were then able to scan said code from above to place a bet on Tuesday’s big game at the Aviva. All of which goes to prove that the sky really isn’t the limit after all…
