The gloves were well and truly off during a fight in Montana recently when a boxer was arrested mid-fight for giving the bird to the audience.
On two separate occasions during Brock Aleksich’s fight with Bobby Moreno, the 36-year-old took off one glove to give the one-fingered salute to fans.
Aleksich was given a warning by police officers after the first insult when they came to his corner for a chat but there was no talking to the antagonising fighter.
The cops were left with no option but to interrupt the fight, slap the cuffs on Aleksich and cart him off to the station.
The Montana Standard reports Aleksich faces a possible disorderly conduct charge.
