Calling all Liverpool fans! The stage play One Night In Istanbul has come to Dublin

Not to be missed

JOE

Wednesday, 25 May 2005.

What a night that was.

For Liverpool fans, it will forever be etched in the memory as it was the incredible night that their beloved club somehow clawed back from the brink of defeat against AC Milan to become champions of Europe for the fifth time in their illustrious history.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of “that night” in Istanbul in 2005, the hugely popular stage show, One Night In Istanbul, is on in The Gaiety Theatre in Dublin for one special week launching today, 2 June 2015.

Istanbul play

Penned by Nicky Allt, One Night In Istanbul tels the tale of Scousers Tommy Kelly and Gerry Edwards, two Pool fans in Istanbul hoping their heroes are going to bring “big ears” back to its rightful home in Liverpool.

Their two sons, Jamie and Joseph, search for tickets wanting to witness history in the making.

A bag of money, Hitler’s cufflinks and a sexy Turkish chambermaid means it all kicks off in The Mamara Hotel as the journey takes an unexpected twist.

The cast will be joined on stage by some very special guests who are used to winning a trophy or two.

Anyone who went to Nicky’s other hit show ‘YNWA…The Official History of LFC’ at The Gaiety earlier this year will know that this show will guarantee an atmosphere like no other.

Tickets are on sale now from €22.65 and they can be purchased in person at the Gaiety Theatre box office, online at www.ticketmaster.ie or by calling 0818 719 388
