Thoughts from a footballing legend.
When you think of the greatest midfielders to have graced the Champions League over the years, Clarence Seedorf is definitely close to, if not at the very top of the list.
The only player to have won the Champions League with three different clubs (Ajax, Real Madrid and AC Milan) the Dutchman was as classy a ball player as there’s been in the modern era.
Even though he’s 39 years young, he was still playing in Brazil with Botafogo as recently as last year.
Last night, in the glamorous surroundings of the Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, Seedorf took over the Twitter account of Heineken, official sponsors of the UEFA Champions’ League and fielded questions about a number of topics, from his toughest opponents to how he keeps himself in shape.
Have a look at some of his best responses below.

.@CilliandeBurca Not fair. Everyone can have a bad period. If the end result is like last year they shouldn't worry. #ChampionTheMatch

@alancaw I've played 23 years. It would be a challenge just to name them all. Let alone choose. #ChampionTheMatch #UCL #AtletiRealMadrid

@pogmogoal Inter – Milan is different. Less rivalry and more like family. (2/2) #ChampionTheMatch #UCL #AtletiRealMadrid
