The Notorious is a man of his word
Conor McGregor has beaten Dennis Siver by knockout in their featherweight division fight at TD Gardens in Boston.
The Dubliner said he was going to win “inside two minutes” but he did it after a second round TKO in front of thousands of Irish and Irish-American fans.
Here’s the moment he delivered the KO.
The Notorious will now face Jose Aldo for the world title in Las Vegas sometime later this year.
McGregor ran to Aldo just after the fight.

It was a good night for the Irish fighters on a memorable occasion in Boston.
Cathal Pendred beat Sean Spencer in the welterweight division fight, with a unanimous decision that takes his record to 3-0 in the UFC.
The judges scored the fight 30-27, 28-28, 30-27, but a lot of people felt Pendred was very lucky to come out with the win.
Paddy ‘The Hooligan’ Holohan beat Shane Howell in the flyweight division by unanimous decision.
It was a pretty comprehensive from Holohan who landed 114 strikes compared to Howell’s 26.
Elsewhere, Norman Parke from Antrim was beaten by Gleison Tibau of Brazil on a split decision.
What a night.
