The France legend reportedly took ill in Nice.

Former Newcastle, Tottenham and France winger David Ginola has reportedly suffered a heart attack in Nice.

French media are reporting that the 49-year-old is unconscious but stable.

The Frenchman, a pundit for BT Sport, is said to have fallen ill after playing a football match in high temperatures.

Ginola, named PFA Player Of The Year while playing for Tottenham in 1999, briefly ran for the FIFA presidency last year, before dropping out of the running.
