Tottenham travel to Bloomfield Road on Sunday and are due a win after drawing in the last two Premier League matches with Chelsea and Birmingham.

Blackpool won’t be easily turned over, however, as they are more than holding than own in the league this season. Will they be able to contain Gareth Bale though? We think not. The Welsh wizard has knock five goals already this season in the Premier League and we fancy him strike again this weekend.

Bale to score at anytime during the 90 minutes and Tottenham to win can be had at 16/5.

Connacht take on Harlequins this evening (Friday) in a game that Eric Elwood’s side must win to have any hope of qualifying for the last eight of the Amlin Challenge Cup. Despite the dodgy weather, the game is going ahead after the good folks at Connacht Rugby took the precaution of spreading 80 bales of straw on the playing surface earlier in the week to prevent it from the elements.

The westerners played plenty of excellent rugby against ‘Quins at the Stoop last weekend and given the high stakes of tonight’s clash, we fancy them to prevail in what is bound to be close affair at the Sportsground.

Put your money on Connacht to beat Harlequins at 5/4

The big one in the Premier League this weekend sees reigning Champions Chelsea take on league leaders Manchester United at Stamford Bridge. United have already brushed aside one of their tital rivals this week and will be determined to put an end to a horrible run of form at Stamford Bridge, where they haven’t won since 2002.

Chelsea can’t seem to buy a win at the moment and Fergie’s side look well placed to capitalise on the Blues’ vulnerability and come away from West London with a win that would firmly establish United as favourites to win the league for the fourth time in five seasons.

We like the look of a 2-1 win for the Red Devils at 10/1.

A €10 accum on these three bets would rake you in a grand total of €1,038.50 if they all come good. More than enough to buy the horse featured in the Rubberbandits new music video ‘Horse Outide’.
