Ahead of the first leg of our play-off against Estonia on Friday night, JOE sent Donagh Humphreys up Grafton Street to collar a few lads – and lasses – for their opinions.

Not surprisingly, everyone was predicting an Ireland win, including Assets model Pamela Ryan (specialist subject = not football) and two lads from Manchester who appeared to be carrying around the Premier League and FA Cup trophies.

They were City fans, too, but the trophies are decked in red and white ribbon. Curiouser and curiouser…

Most were also on Trapattoni’s side – expect that to change if Estonia embarrass us over the next few days – and they also reckon Trap would have the measure of fellow pensioner Michael D in a scrap.

Check it out up top.
