Four games. Four selections. The potential of a tenner turning into over a grand.
That’s our aim. Will we do it? Well, we have before and one win would cover us for 100 weekends. Our strike-rate is a fair bit better than that too.
So without further ado, here’s this week’s attempt.
Crystal Palace v Southampton, Crystal Palace 6/4
Here’s the important stats: Southampton are four games without a win, while Palace won their last home game 5-1. The Saints drew their last match against a poor Aston Villa team and lost 6-1 to Liverpool in their previous game.
We’re backing Alan Pardew’s team to come out on top.
Liverpool v West Brom, Both teams to score and Liverpool to win 11/4
Liverpool were poor in their game against Newcastle last week, but we reckon that was because of complacency as they thought they’d just have to turn up to defeat the Magpies.
Klopp’s men should get back on track this week against an average Baggies’ side. West Brom have scored in their last three matches, so we’re putting our money on Liverpool to win and both teams to score.
Tottenham v Newcastle, Draw 4/1
We’re going for the draw for two reasons here; Newcastle knocked one of the Premier League’s form team off their perch last week and The Magpies have a habit of playing well when the Sky cameras show up. They’ve won all their games that have been broadcast live.
Leicester v Chelsea, Leicester 2/1
The Foxes are first and Chelsea are fourteenth, but that doesn’t really tell the full story.
Everyone still expects the Leicester bubble to burst, but we think it might last another weekend.
A tenner on this fourfold could win you well over a grand (€1,406.25). That wouldn’t be a bad little treat before Christmas.
