However, we’ve decided to stay positive and make that massive purchase on the assumption that our predictions will win this week.
We’d advise you to wait until the results come in… just in case our good feeling is a week premature.
So, without further ado, here are our selections for this weekend:
Chelsea v Newcastle, Eden Hazard to score first 9/2
The little Belgium has been nothing short of fantastic so far this season. He was rested for the Blues FA Cup clash with Watford, so should be fully rejuvenated when he faces an inconsistent Newcastle.
Leicester v Aston Villa, Under 1.5 goals 37/20
Villa have been on a one team mission to bore us all to death this season. They don’t score much, but they don’t concede a whole lot either. We can feel a yawn coming on already.
West Brom v Hull, West Brom to win 21/20
Magicians such as David Blaine and Keith Barry may be more entertaining, but could they turn a team of terrible footballers into an efficient Premier League side. We doubt it. Tony Pulis is the rarest kind of magician; he finds success while boring his audience. It works though.
Manchester United v Southampton, Draw 13/5
We reckon these two Champions League chasing sides will cancel each other out on Sunday… well we hope they will. Don’t let us down Koeman.
A €10 bet will bring in about €1,150. Now that wouldn’t be a bad mid-January present.
