It was a case of so, so close for Ireland today, but ultimately defeat was yet again our lot against the best side in the world.
When the dust settles, Joe Schmidt will take great heart from the performance in light of last week’s display against the Wallabies, but as every player, pundit and fan alike has alluded to post match, moral victories are a thing of the past for Irish teams.
