In times gone by, reminding Gary Lineker that he literally did a poo on a football pitch might upset him a bit.
But these days, it seems like he’s actually happy to remind the entire nation about it by making jokes about it on Twitter.
It’s an odd thing to bring up, but I guess when you get thousands of people replying with “shat on pitch” every time you tweet, you might as well face it head on.

When England’s match against Russia kicked off, Lineker tweeted about Oleg Shatov, who does have a funny name… come on, you know you don’t want to laugh, but every time you hear his name you chuckle on the inside.
