Hot on the heels of Ireland’s impressive display at Euro 2016, Ireland’s own Homeless World Cup team have nabbed some success of their own at this summer’s Homeless World Cup.

The lads went unbeaten during matchplay throughout the entire tournament, landing them in the Plate final against Egypt.
The game finished 4-4 in normal time but was finished after one round of penalties, which saw the boys in green emerge victorious.
The team from Mexico won the overall all tournament, seeing off Brazil in the final.
