After yet another brilliant week of Champions League action, the incredibly knowledgeable football heads in the JOE office had plenty to talk about in this week’s Champions League podcast.

So there we have it folks, an all-German final, which not a whole lot of people were predicting when the draw for the semi-finals were made, including the majority of the JOE office it must be said.

In our defence, we did stick our necks out and go for a Bayern v Dortmund final at the end of the first leg when the aggregate scorelines were 4-0 and 4-1 respectively and our Mystic Meg-like predictions proved correct in the end.

JOE.ie editor Mike Sheridan sat down with Sports Editor Sean Nolan and Declan Whooley to pore over the domination of Ze Germans, Bayern’s vast, vast superiority over Barcelona and whether the talk of a Barcelona decline is valid or just a little bit premature.

The lads also talk about what will materialise in the final and name their choices as player of the tournament so take 15 minutes, slap in those headphones and settle in for some casual, breezy and informative Champions League chat.

Enjoy.
